The inherent uncertainties, complexities, and traumas of modern existence often disconnect us from a fundamental sense of wholehearted presence.
In describing this human predicament, D.H. Lawrence says we are like a great tree with its roots in the air. Mindfulness is about replanting ourselves—in the sentient wisdom of our bodies and this interconnected universe.
Together, we will explore the intelligence of the nervous system—our body’s incredible agent of feeling—and equip ourselves with relevant teachings and meditation practices to nourish our roots, steady our minds, and redefine resilience in light of our times.

More about this series
This is a progressive meditation series. For four weeks, we’ll spend an hour per week discovering the incredible agent that is the nervous system and exploring relevant teachings and practical tools of mindfulness to equip ourselves well for living in times of radical change, fortifying our well-being in our daily lives, and learning about the inner cultivation of equilibrium that can extend into the field around us—from our most intimate relationships to the world at large.
